whats a hight to low impedance converter for? how to use it?

There are high to low adapters for the signal.   But not for the impedance.
These are used for decks with no pre outs (RCA's) or factory radios
They are basically wired into the factory wires or speakrs to obtain a signal for the input stage of an amplifier

it takes a high voltage signal and drops it down to a low voltage for the low voltage requirment on an aftermarket amp witch is commonly inbetween under one volt and upwards of 5 volts.

it will let you hook up a hu that dont have rca's and convert them so you do in simple terms
