Does anyone know what the procedure is for resetting the Class II radio's on a GM scan tool ? I have one that needs to be reset to another vehicle & my friend with the scan tool has never reset a radio with a new VIN before. TIA

you need to do radio setup which will burn the VIN into the radio.... go into body, special features and radio setup....

Depending on the radio the Tech II may not set up the radio. Some truck radios require software be downloaded from a dealers computer through the use of a Tech II tool.

depending on the chassis you may also need the CANDI module attached to the Tech II.......
