Hey guys.. i just completed my very first system 2 days ago.. i just ran one sub outta my one amp.. i am planning on expanding when i go to collage..
I have a cdx-m8805X deck with front and rear preamps and also sub preamps.. i did try it outta teh sub preamps and it didn't work (this is b4 we got the system fully working) *i may just take it apart tomarrow and try it*.. but i just wanna make sure that it should work.. since im just running my sub outta this i thought that would be awesome to do..
on the deck with the sub preamps they are not labeld poss/neg, they are both black.. so i guess ill just plug them in and if it dont work switch it around?
Ill try this out tomarrow and write back but i just wanna make sure that i have the correct idea here!!
Thanks

Sounds like you blew a fuse.  I bet you didn't disconnect your battery before you installed the HU.  Check all fuses under the dash and in the engine compartment and replace any that are blown.

Its probably because its a dodge, heh just kiddin. have fun taking panels off if it wasnt a fuse tho. good luck with everything, and learn to not use as many a's in replacement of other vowels sub preamp outs? -- posted image.. I normally unplug the battery before doing any electrical work. Even when just doing speakers or something, better safe then sorry I guess.
