My Audiobahn A8002T amp has a option for High Input Level! What is this for?

1 15" Memphis Mojo,
Memphis 16-mc1000D amp,
Audiopipe 4gauge mp kit, Pioneer DEH4700MP head unit.

Things like this should be covered in the amp's manual.  If you find that the amp has features where info is not provided by the manufacturer, it's probably due to them thinking that this should be a basic "known", or that the info is otherwise easily found...(which it is).  But just in short, that input is a cheap and unreliable way to use the amplifier with a factory deck.

Here's a suggestion, smitty.  Find out more about that HERE and then read through http://www.bcae1.com/ from beginning to end.  You'll get insight into car audio and all that goes with it....and you'll better appreciate everything you can gain from this forum.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
