I'd probably try contacting alpine directly for a manual.  Check their website: www.alpine1.com.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

on my pioneer I send above 80 to my mids/highs and below 80 to my sub.
Does your deck have an equalizer?

yeah its pretty extensive too as anyone else with an alpine knows, i mean i play around with it and try to listen to what sounds best. in the morning i will look and tell you what i have everything set to. the deck also has a time correction feature. which is supposed to correct for where the driver is sitting

The way i set mine is to listen to each set of speakers individually.

Sub(s) I cut mine off at 80Hz with a 18db slope

6.5's listen to them at both a normal level and a loud level. Choose a roll off point where there is no distortion from low and mid-low frequencies

5.25's same as 6.5's

As far as slopes, you have to determine cut-off points first then,  choose what slope sounds best to you without distortion.

I have a 9835 so the crossover is probably the same.
