i have a 2002 supercab f-150. i just got eclipse 6 1/2 components for my front doors. they have a 2 7/8 mounting depth. has anybody put components in a f-150? do you make special adapters or buy some? any suggestions would be great. my last resort is to cut the door hole bigger but i would rather not do that. so any help would be great and pics would help a lot too. thanks

Yes, you need to make a mounting adaptor out of 1/4" black abs. You can use mdf if you must, but with the moisture in the door, the mdf will breakdown over time. I'll be making a sticky for this in the future.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
