Just thought I would show you what I have been up to ...below is the pics of the Amp Rack system for my 2004 Express van, This will house the amp. & 2 Eclipse 30 band EQs 1 for left & the other for right ... So far the enclosure & amp rack has over 30 different pieces to assemble it, as the bottom is shapped togo over some heating vents that go across the floor at the rear of the van, I will also be making a top & front trim piece to finish off the area in the rear of the van, so it looks like part of the interior, This will be covered in a combination of Vinyl, Fabric, carpet(inside, amp rack & the inside of enclosure for dampening) & factory paint, depending on the panel & how it incorporates with the factory interior. It will also be embroidered  with a couple designs & logos. FUN FUN FUN,

Plans for the system are the factory GM CD/Cassette/XM RDS HeadUnit .. outputting to a JL Audio Cleansweep, This will output to the 2 Eclipse EQs, ( These are for tuning for my taste in sound as the cleansweep will digitally flatten the system when it is calibrated, If it works as advertised)  then we will go to the Hifonics ZX8000 Amplifier for the High pass, The low pass will go thru a PG Bass Cube on its way to the Hifonics amp.

For speakers I have installed 2 sets of PG Zenon 6.5 sep.in the front , the midbasses live in the doors with 1 tweeter in the A panel.

For rear fill I have PG Zenon 5.25 in custom pods in the rear,

Subs will be 2 PUNCH S1 10" 4ohm VC.wiill be wired as a 2 ohm load .

The video is a stand alone system using Cambridge Soundworks Home cube speakers for the surrounds with the subwoofer hidden in the hi roof. this all runs off of a DSP unit & outputs to a 20" LCD flat mounted in the hightop & a 7" screen in the passenger visor, THe Video system was installed in the van by Quality conversions when I special ordered it. so it is completely integrated into the vehicle, with the interior designed around it. I may try to use a switching system so I can run the output from the video system through the new stereo if I choose ,

Please give input or advice as you see fit.
