if i have 2 mono amps and 2 single voice coil 4 ohm subs i should be able to do this right..

wire the negative from one sub to the negative on one amp and the positive to the positive on the other amp. then vice versa with the other sub.

this would give me a 2 ohm load on both amps right?

that is called strapping and can only be done if the amps are capabale of that. Chances are they arent. There arent many amps that can. What are the make and models of your amps?

No. No more than one amp per speaker or speaker set.  You cannot hook up the output of multiple amps together to the same load. You could hook up the two woofers like this:

...but you could only hook them up to one amp.

right on flakman, i was just looking that up. grandamgt818, use the above picture to wire 1 of you subs to 1 amp and the same with the other sub and amp.
