OK can someone properly explain 2ohm speakers and 4ohm speakers...the difference between them. For instance, when you are lookin to install lets say 3-15" subs. Whats would be the better choice. Or lets say you are installin 4-15" subs. From my understanding when u get into quantity of speakers this high a 4 ohm would be better as it would drop your ohm load to something around a 2 with a mono amp can handle..please help me

Why isn't there a sticky about this!
No difference effectively between the speakers, they just give you different options for wiring. Decide what ohm load your amp is capable & comfortable driving, 2 ohm is comman for a good amount of power w/o overloading things.
So say you need to achieve a total load of 2 ohms from whatever speakers you plug into the amp. (2) 4-ohm speakers in parallel = (1) 2-ohm load. (2)2ohm spks in parallel = (1)1ohm load. For specific wiring & ohm calculators go here & here.

I can, but to do it right I need to know the rest of the system. You're talking about an ungodly amount of sub power - are we talking "real" power or Audiobahn power? If "real" power then you'll most likely need to upgrade your electrical system too, that's another issue.
What's the rest of the setup & the sub amp budget?

If you don't know that theres no difference between 4 and 2 ohm speakers than do you really know how much power 2000 watts rms is???
And a 100 farad capacitor will not fix your headlight dimmage

OK...that was helpful...
Try this - Elemental Designs Nine.1 - about $350, the cheapest you'll get something respectable for.
Good quality amp, will do a real 1000+w into 1 ohm which believe me is a lot of bass when set up properly. If your friends are running Audiobahn/Sony/MTX/Kenwood/Fosgate/Pioneer amps claiming 2000 watts, this'll blow them out of the water all day long.

in my last set up i had a brutus 2200bx pushing 3-15"s kicker cvr's. all 4 ohm speakers wired down to 2.66 ohms something of that nature. i sold that car along with the set up..i wanna upgrade the system in my avalanche and i wanna do it better this time.  as for my system i purchased two sets of components for the front and back door of my truck. i was lookin at the jl 1000.1 for an amp..but i do like the brutus series as i know from experience that it can handle..jus wanted to change the speakers..i was lookin at the cvx series kicker 15"...prolly go wit 4 ohms as to where theres no strain on the amp.

So your last setup was around 1200-1300w into three 15's & you want to outdo that? With more volume or better quality?
First off I'd say the 1000/1 won't provide more than 1000w regardless of ohm load - it's regulated. so if you want more than that I'd say do two of the ED amps mentioned & run them at 2 ohms each, you'll have around 1800w total.
You're going to need to upgrade your alternator with that, BTW.
But frankly I think you'd be much better off by staying with maybe 1200w & going with more efficient subs & enclosure. Once you get up to these power levels its more about the enclosure than the equipment.
Try this - Nobelium 15, navigate to the Nobelium 15," I'd take this over the Kicker's anyday. And cheaper.
Speaker type      : Subwoofer
Impedance      : 2 x 4 ohm
Size      : 15" (37,5 cm)
Power handling capacity      : 600 W RMS / 1000 W max
Voice coil      : 3" diameter, 40 mm of length
Frequency range      : 15-2500 Hz
Sensitivity      : 92,3 dB (1W/1m)
Now it's all about the enclosure - that'll make or break the setup.
