I know i need to subtract for the matterial but i cant figure out where to take it off the demensions??? do i take the 1.5" off each board im cutting????  with the oustside demsions and woofer displacement i should get  a little more than .33 cubic foot.

that box is     .463

To figure it out yourself   you need to subtract 1.5 inches from each measurement  then multiply length  x  width  x  height         then take that number and divide it by  1728      this will give you cubic feet
