I could use some help locating a shallow dual voice coil 4ohm sub in either a 10 or 12 inch and I am not having to much luck.
Let me tell you first what I am doing.
I am doing a old school setup using all older equipment and the only thing I am going to use new is speakers’
I want to use my old Orion 425hcca 1st gen and would like to drop it down to .5 ohms but I am limited in space about 4 inches in depth max before I hit a gas tank.
There is one brand I have found so-far is some company called POWER ACOUSTIK?? They have a STW-10 and 12 and I think it looks like hell but I don’t think they will handle what the Orion will want to give it!
Any help would be great.

I bought one Elemental Designs SQ10 for my dad's truck. For the price you cannot beat this subs quality and sound. Four of these on that amp in a sealed box with .3 cu ft per driver would rock pretty good

Pioneer has an affordable one at about 179.99 or Sony has just produced one with a 2 5/8 depth for about 129.99. Try those out. I am partial to sony for sound and price!

I've sold a few of the pio's, and was less than thrilled with them. They are a last resort in my opinion. I dislike sony in general, and unfortunately the name still has some bearing on unsuspecting customers.
Power Acoustik falls in the latter category, more of a flea market type brand.
Although I have no experience with eD, they have a decent reputation, and may be worth investigating, along with the likes of the JL.
