mtx8100d

hi i was just wondering if anybody knows how to mod the mtx 8100d to be able to run 1 ohm stable. I just bought a 15" kicker L7 2 ohm dvc and i want to run it at 1 ohm. Ive been reading all over the net that people have modded these amps to be able to run 1 ohm. lol i don't need another one but if i do ill let you know. how do you mod them to be able to play at 1 ohm. Re Read DWarren's post very carefully and pay attention to all the words.

It is not safe, there is no "Mod" you just hook it up.     But more then likely you will be replacing your amp atol quicker then expected, when a manufacturer states a amp is 1, 2 or 4 ohm stable that is the minimum impedance that can be safely ran.
