This is a Uk British spec vehicle.

Grand Voyager : Radio problem. I have been to upgrade the radio and found a wire I do not know how to get around it. It goes into a very small white plug located at the top right (looking from rear of unit) I know if i connect it the steering wheel controls work and sound from the radio. But then if i disconnect it and turn the ignition off the steering wheel controls dont work and no sound comes from the radio, Plug it in again and all ok. Only thing is I want to change to a Pioneer radio, ?? Can anyone tell me ahet this wire is please.

from steve

I came, I saw, I wired it in,

??? That wire is the steering wheel control wire in the USA/Canadian model and when removed all you loose is your steering wheel control. The OEM amplifier wire is GREEN on the BLACK harness if it's pre-2002.

Hi, thanks for the reply. There is only two green wires on the black ISO. both are speaker wires ? green and GREEN/ black.

The Steering wheel wire also makes the amplifer come on ? I checked with the factory radio and the Blue wire on the black ISO is the amplifer turn on wire. Im really confused ?

I came, I saw, I wired it in,

??? Euro Dodge's are that much different than USDM/CDM vehicles? Would you be able to take a picture of the harness and post or email it to me ?

Are you using a harness adapter for the installation ? From the sounds of the wire colors that your describing, your telling me the adapter colors and not the vehicle wire colors.
