I am trying to program an extra 479v remote to my viper 791xv alarm.  I have read several times the manual and i know the procedure.  What i don't understand is how actually setting it up for channel 1?  As i understand channel 1 is Auto Learn Standard Configuration, meaning i don't have to program each button individually, right?  Now something which i don't find in the manual is if i want to program channel 1, which button on the remote should I use?

Thanks for any type of help in advance.

P.S.:  There is a note in the manual which says: "If adding a remote, a button must be tought to the unit in the channel one or channel five position prior to programming other channels"   ( what does this mean?)

Hey I got it to work by reading other posts.  I did everything what the manual said for programing on channel 1 plus push the arm button on the remote when needed.
