It's a module that will allow you to remote start a manual transmission car, but does it require activating a reservation mode like with CompuStar?

And does it only work with the G5 series, or can i use with the Matrix 50.5x

Yes it has reservation mode but wil only work with G4/5 Cliffords, it works through the datalink whereas the Matrix units are effectively Viper/Hornets with different software.
