Hello Good People,

Can someone please provide step by step instructions on how to activate passive arming on the Viper771XV?
It's not in the manual

Thanks...

Ringojam is correct, if you had it professionally installed they should make this change for you free of charge.
If you want to tackle it yourself the installation manual is in the downloads section: link. System features learn routine starts on page 39, passive arming is feature 1-1.
Open door, key on then off, hold programming button till you hear single chirp. Release programming button, press programming button 2x holding the button down on the second press (this selects feature menu 1 option 1) when the system chirps once again press unlock on the remote, the system will chirp two times to confirm your setting.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Thanks I did it..... But I am wondering ...I thought along with passive arming when this happens the car should lock as well. It sets the alarm but will not automatically lock the car.

Feature 1-5: Passive Locking
I do not recommend turning this on, the reason they have it separate is the likely hood of locking your keys in the vehicle.
