i am looking for a manual for 1700G bypass module. I put a RS in a 2002 Chevy Silverado and the factory alarm is being triggered.  Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance

The 1700G does not disarm the factory alarm on the 02 model GM trucks. It does bypass the passlock but does not do door locks nor disarm. Take a look at the BCM, light green wire, purple plug. This is your FAD, to verify you are on the right wire put your meter on it and turn the key in the driver's door to unlock. The wire should go to ground when unlocking and return to it's previous state. Put your system's FAD negative output to this wire, should solve your problem.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

thx I will try that. lil bro was a lil upset his X-mas present was jacked up. you guys are excellent on here. I cant say enuf about the help I have recieved on this forum

hi, i'm working on a1998 caddy seville sts and I can't get the 1700g to work with the passkey. i have tried using the pink and pink/black wire to the pink but it wouldn't work. I've tried resisters too. Iv've been on this for almost a week. Some help would be good right now
