door lock actuator

Sorry for the long tread, but I hope somebody can help me. I replaced my car's vacuum central locking with an electric setup, using the basic aftermarket door lock motors - the reverse polarity ones with the blue and green wires. I also added one to my trunk lock. It's NOT a solenoid trunk popper, but simply locks and unlocks the trunk-lock mechanism. Originally I had the trunk motor connected with the doors' wiring, so that it locks and unlocks whenever I lock and unlock the car. However, I recently added a relay so that I can control the trunk with one of my keyless entry's auxiliary channels. It works perfectly, the only thing being that I had to disconnect the unlocking wire of the trunk actuator from the doors' unlocking circuit. In other words, the trunk can now only be unlocked via the auxiliary channel of the keyless entry system. The trunk motor's locking wire is still connected to the doors' circuit, however. What I'd like to accomplish, is for the trunk motor to still be unlocked with the doors. However, when I only want to get something from the trunk, I want to be able to use the auxiliary channel to unlock the trunk only. I know I'll have to use a diode between the auxiliary relay's output terminal and the doors' unlocking terminal, with a cathode pointing towards the auxiliary relay's circuit. However, if I'm correct, the diode will prevent the trunk motor from locking, right? What should I do to accomplish this?F R A N S
