Hey guys, if installed a few remote starters but I'm trouble with this one. It's for my 05 Santa Fe and i believe I found all the wires but one for the barking break. Yes it's a standard, the first one i install a remote in.
So my question is has anybody installed a remote start into a standard 05 Santa Fe? And does anybody have the wire diagram to be used? I usually use Bypass kits when installing but none are available for my Fe. Can it be that I have to bypass a key sense and the factory alarm before starting?
Any help would be greatly appreciated I'm at my wits ends.
Thanks
Dan

First off, be certain the unit you are installing is designed for a manual transmission. (you read the forum rules....correct?)

Hey KarTunMan,

I'd like to start by thanking you for the speedy reply. The remote start unit is for manual transmision. You mentioned driver lock motor  and driver unlock motor what do they do and are they needed for simple remote strating?

Thanks again.

Dan

Just go to lock, and unlock. Some tech info is simply given on a FYI basis. Gives you options, ya know.
