Hi there..

I want to install remote starter in 2000 Ford Windstar, the only problem I have is this van has 3 ignitions the remote starter that have only 2 ignitions, how can I install this unit, someone told me to use relay but I not sure how to wire it

Can anyone help me with it

this is what i have listed off my wiring charts

2000 ford windstar, remote start -- posted image.Ignition 1 WHITE/ YELLOW (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS 
2000 ford windstar, remote start -- posted image.Ignition 2 VIOLET/ORANGE (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS 
2000 ford windstar, remote start -- posted image.Accessory 1 VIOLET/ORANGE (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS 
2000 ford windstar, remote start -- posted image.Accessory 2 YELLOW (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS 
2000 ford windstar, remote start -- posted image.Accessory 3 BLACK/ GREEN (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

test your wires, sometimes wiring charts are wrong.

to wire up an additional ignition with a relay, look on your unit and look for an optional (-) 250 - 500mA output for ignition or programmable output and wire it to a relay like so

85 - optional (-) output from unit

86 - constant 12v
87 - high current 12v fused @ 15 or 20 amps
30 - to second ignition wire on car.
