I have a compustar 2wss-as installed in a 95 Eclipse. I've been back to the installer about 6 times now trying to get my alarm correct.
-My dome lights do not turn on or off when I lock/unlock or with ignition on/off. I was told it couldn't be done because of having a manual car.
- The Piezo pain siren in the car beeps when I lock and unlock is that right? Kind of annoying.
-When I am getting gas my alarm keeps going off so they told me I have to leave the key in the ignition in order for it to not lock.
-When I get in my car it takes me sometime to take the club off and get the key in the ignition and my alarm arms and sometimes it goes off via the shock sensor
Thanks for your help in advance,
Cris

I would go back to the shop and talk to the owner/supervisor. There are some minor things that can be fixed just by programming. Just go back and calmly explain the situation. Don't blow up thats the worst thing you can do.

"-My dome lights do not turn on or off when I lock/unlock or with ignition on/off. I was told it couldn't be done because of having a manual car."
A. I don't think that having a manual transmission has anything to do with this and the dome can be turned on or off if the alarm has an output specifically for this.
"- The Piezo pain siren in the car beeps when I lock and unlock is that right? Kind of annoying."
A. It is hooked up in parallel with your regular siren and it will chirp the same time as the one under your hood. It is right but not much you can do.
"-When I am getting gas my alarm keeps going off so they told me I have to leave the key in the ignition in order for it to not lock."
A. This is a programming issue to change from passive arming to manual arming. That way it will only arm and lock when you push the button on the transmitter.
"-When I get in my car it takes me sometime to take the club off and get the key in the ignition and my alarm arms and sometimes it goes off via the shock sensor"
A. Same answer as above.
The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya
