Hi;
Our shop is starting to get into remote starter installs. We will be using the Xpresskit Bypass Modules. I like the D2D ports on them because I think they will speed up the installs.
I am looking for recommendations on Remote Start units that have data 2 data ports(D2). I will be using the Xpresskit XK531 bypass module. It looks pretty nice being able to hook it up w/ the D2D port. I am looking more towards the in-expensive end.
Any recommendations as to what units provide the ports?
Thanks for any help
Pat

keep in mind not all D2D data protocol is the same.... if you are going to be using Xpresskits modules then i would suggest DEI units....

1. Be prepared to software issues, which are D2D related.
2. Mind that not all D2D features are well documented at DEI websites, for example I found that XK532 does brake signal via D2D port while it's not listed at xpresskit.com.
3. Don't expect too much advices and answers here for your D2D questions.
However D2D really makes installations simplier.
