hornet 727 sentra 2008

I have problems conecting the Green for arm input, Red disarm defeat input and the Blue disarm input. According to the instructions i need to connect the Green to the lock wire, the Blue to the unlock and the Red also to the unlock wire. I connected the input wires to the unlock and lock wires at the door harness. When I try to program the learn lock/unlock routine I get as far as step 6 and when I press the lock button on the remote the LED flashes for about 2 times and the alarm honks the car and exits the learn routine. I close all the doors for programing and have all other inputs at rest. I'm not sure if my problem is that I need to connect the wires close to the switch and not at the door harness. Also I'm not sure where exactly to connect the Red wire. I am installing the system in a 2008 Nissan Sentra with remote keyless entry. Any help would be greatly appreciated.alex

I figured out the problem. I connected the arm and disarm wires to the motor wires instead of the lock/unlock wires from the switch. Afterwards it was ver easy to program and install. Thanks anyways.alex
