I have installed a viper 571xv and the 1700G bypass module and everything is working but the problem i am having is that when you turn off the ignition after driving the doors lock right away and the pass lock system is armed.  i would like to find a way to get it back to the standard gm setting that unlock the door when the engine is shut off.  any ideas, i'm thinking its just a setting by i cant seem to get it.

Thanks fir your help,

Craig

It sounds like you have your lock/unlock wires backwards maybe going to the 1700G? They shouldn't ever lock with ignition off, just unlock.
