i just installed a ultra 1172 remote starter (its the starter only) on my moms 1999 nissan quest minivan. The remote starter works fine with the doors unlocked but when they are locked it might set of the alarm sometimes and not crank or it will crank fine but doesnt respond to the factory keyless remote fob have to unlock with the key. Is there any kind of bypass module i need? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well the factory fob might be disabled when the vehicle is remote started. Its just how the manufacturers are. As for the alarm you have to hook up the factory disarm off the remote start.

No problem, yeah that should take care of it. Not sure the wire color on the unit but it will take care of the alarm going off.
