Hello. I'm installing remote starter on my 2005 Corolla and I bought DEI556U bypass. Can you tell me how should I install this bypass. I would prefer do this without this ring. I man there is 3 types of installation in the manual. One with the ring and 2 without the ring only by connecting to some factory ring cables. Can you tell me what colors are those cables in my car. Or is it even possible to install this without this aftermarket ring-thing.
THANKS

I don't think you can on Toyota's, the ring is needed unless you get another bypass that doesn't need a key at all. Be sure to close the ring up smaller and get it as far out on the key cylinder as possible. I personally remove the coiled black plastic that's over the ring and twist the ring wires a little to keep them together. Then i place the ring up against the factory ring.
