I have a 2000 pontiac grand am with a Python 460HP alarm installed. I picked up an autostart AS-2775.

Can this unit be added to work with my existing alarm. Will the 5 button remotes work with the Python 460HP.

yeah just use the aux wire. are you using the red white to open up your trunk??? if not you can use the white blue. chan 3 its programmable ... even with the reg three button remotes theres a sequence you gotta program.. but you can i have done it before.

if you do this you will need to disarm your 460 before you remotestart so it wont trigger the starter kill relay.

You wont need to disarm the 460 first before remote starting the auto. Use the ground out when running wire with a relay from the auto start to interuppt the ignition wire on the 460.
