Just wondering where is the extra sensor port in this alram at? I've looked at it and I cant seem to find it on there.  I see there are 2 ports on  there but one is used for the bypass deal and the other i'm not sure but it's being used as well.  Those or the 2 ports on the side.  But I didn't see any 4 pin ports on top of the alarm unless I missed it?  I dont want to take it back to the dealer just to add this senor thats going to cost well over 70 dollars to have them install it when I can do it on my own.  THanks guys.

I've just read the instalation instructions, it lists but the diagrammes don't show the optional sensor port. It will be a 4 pin differently shaped socket to the D2D and Bitwriter inputs. If you can find it bjust plug in and set up 508d etc. All DEI's accessory sensors will simply plug in. If you can't find it wire as follows:- Join green and blue to blue trunk contact, diodes with bands away from alarm to separate the wires, (sensor's blue and green 1 diode, alarm's blue other diode then join.red to red and black to the orange armed output.

i am interested in something similar to this. I have a 5901 installed now and a 506T is installed with it. I would like to add a 508D but not sure how to add it in. No sense in me paying someone to do it.

Sorry about all the post for some reason it would let me post the web site on this form.  Well, type 5901 on google  and click on the images after you seach for it.  One of those pictures should show a picture of the brain.  Thanks for helping me out.  But if you dont have time to do all of that I understand.

Saw one on ebay but it's the wrong side, I'm guessing it's the same side as the antenna plug. We won't have them in the UK (the frequency is slap in the middle of our cell phones) so I've never actually seen one.

You're using links to ebay. They do not allow this here. Instead use the link to the photo. http://stereogirl76.com/5901.jpg
Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.
