Hey guys,

I'm installing a viper remote start/alarm into a 2004 Chrysler 300m, and I'm using a DEI 556UW to bypass the sentry key system.

The problem I'm having, is that with the 556UW hooked up, with the key in the box, and only the red (12volt), blue (negative status input), and black (ground) hooked up to the module, the Remote start works beautifully, but if you try to start the car with the key, it runs for a couple of seconds and then shuts down. I tried hooking up the keysense wire out of the module, and it just reversed the problem. It would then work fine with the key, but it wouldn't stay running when you remote start it.

I can't get the vehicle to start with the remote start, stay running, and start with the key and stay running. What am I missing?

Nevermind, I'm an idiot. It helps if you read the directions and then you'd know not to hook up the pink ignition wire from the 556uw in this application.
