i saw in a previous post that you can only use the valet key for remote start is this true

i dont have the valet key just key with buttons on it the post i read said to only use valet key and it will attemp to start only when i put the key against the ign wont try when key is in the box

Im guessing there telling you to use valet key...Because the cost of replacing OEM Key w/ buttons is far more...Will look up some bypasses for you...

You need to give up a key as far as I know the reason why they say valet key is because it is harder to fit the real key in the key coffin. You can just remove the immobilizer chip from the key and put it in the bypass module

im using tbxkey by bypass kit it says it has opt wiring but the transponder ring must be internal cause i dont see it when i put the key in the box nothing happens

Did you take the ring that comes w/ bypass and put it aroung ignition cylider...Post your bypass wiring...? There should be a chip inside your key(not visible to you) that the vehicles need to see to start or stay running...! Call a Key Shop/Locksmith and see what they can make you a "Valet" key for...Put that one in the bypass...

yes i put the ring on the cylinder and didnt get anything im using the tbxkey from bypass kit tried both ways to install still nothing
