2003 camry doorlocks

i previously installed an alarm on a 2003 camry. however, i had problems with the doorlocks. i read on two different tech sheets that the lock wire was blue / YELLOW & the unlock was blue located in the driver kick.  i checked all the wires with a multimeter and a computer safe tester coming out of the door firewall and the wires controlling the doorlocks appeared to be different in color from the sheets. the doorlocks didnt work so i tried using relays with 12v on 85 doorlock wire from alarm on 86 ground on 30 and doorlock wire on 87 and it still didnt work.. i then took the doorpanel off and wired the alarm doorlocks directly to the harness on the  door and it still didnt work..  i ran relays there too and still didnt work

does any one know of anything else i can try or why its not catching..   is there something im missing or forgetting to do?

you have to make sure you are testing the wires with your DMM by turning the lock cylinder in the driver side door. they will not test using the switches, lock cylinder only. that is the only way you are going to find the correct wires you need to use. negative trigger, and double pulse for unlock.
