Yes, they all have to be plugged in. Also if it is an optimax module, then it won't recognize it. You have to click optimax flash in the center of the screen.

ok trying to flash a dlpk module using xpressvip. I connect the xkloader2 to the usb and to the module via the D2D cable, run the vip program and click optimax it comes up shows me the firmware that the module has and which module it is also gives me the option for the upgrade. When i click the upgrade and it says ready to flash. I click flash and it tells me the data cable is disconnected (when its not). I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything twice
Any Ideas ???
Thanks in advance Joe    and sorry for the novel just trying to give as much info as possible

works fine for me... i just grabbed one off the wall and loaded it... when it saw the module under Optimax it said firmware 1.01 and it automatically checked for updates... the updates box said newest firmware was 14.02 and it loaded 14.02 fine......  not a server issue anyway....

i always make sure i have the module plugged into the XKLoader BEFORE i plug the loader into the USB port... may not make a difference but you could try that....
