Hi guys, I'm trying to wire the door lock/unlock remote feature for my daughter's '97 Nissan Altima with factory power locks but no factory remote. I have the factory wiring diagram but I couldn't figure out how to wire the Valet 712T since the instructions are not very useful. Thanks for the help.

What info do you have for the car?  Positive or negative?  5 wire, reversal???  There is a manual for that alarm on this site.  Just tell me what you can about the car's locking system.

Following is for my info.  So I will know the wire colors.

Thanks a bunch for the quick reply. I travel a lot and only have weekends to work on the car, so I was hoping somebody had already done this installation and could advise me. I'll have to follow the guide on this site to determine which kind of locking system I have and post it.

After following the instruction guide on this site, I have discovered the car has a 3 Wire Negative system. Any help from this point is appreciated.
