Hello, i have installed a Pyton 1401 in my 2007 Lincoln Mark lt, I am not using the system for locking and unlocking doors or any accesories, just remote starting. Problem is when i push the start button on the remote it powers up, parking lights flash, dash lights come on but will not crank. I have check that the Neutral safety swich is grounded and the hood pin is not grounded. Everything else checks out OK other than i am not getting power for the RS module to the Violet wire which is the starter wire from the module. I am using a XpressKit PKFM but even if that is faulty it should not prevent it from cranking...would it. Any help would be much apprieciated as the interior of my truck is in pieces right now. THANKS!

if the bypass is faulty, it wont crank, fords dont crank when the anti theft isnt bypassed, check to see if the theft light is blinking

it is blinking the same pattern as the security light, but not at the exact same time.

I also tried remote starting it with the key in the ignition, and it did not crank. What should the led be doing if the bypass module is connected and programmed promperly ?

I don't have anything to contribute to this post that would assist the orignial poster, but mr metz, i just wanted to let you know that fords do crank even though the antitheft isn't bypassed, unless of course the antitheft specs on fords in the U.S are different, .
