2009 tacoma passenger door trigger

The wiring guide says the passenger side door trigger should be a RED / black on a 22 pin connected at the fuse box. I've been all over this thing trying to find that connector. This truck has an access cab and it seems like the wiring guide is for a 4 door model because it lists the back door triggers also. Does anyone know where this 22 pin connector is for sure? thanks

I found this info that might apply to your truck in particular... Neg door trigger - GREEN / WHITE, BECU 26-pin connector, pin#4, plugs into the back of the fuse panel, right side. See if it is plugged in there or on the backside of the fusebox.  You can also consider connector the -neg door trigger wire from the alarm to the main door trigger wire (-blue) at the fuse box.  However I don't think this method will work if your domelight is on a delay after closing doors and arming system.

As far as I can tell the becu is attached to the back of the fuse panel.

With most Toyotas if you use the drivers key cylinder wires for lock and unlock it will shut off the dome light immediately when you arm the alarm. You should be able to use the wire that goes to the key cylinder light as your door trigger wire and it will get all doors. I don't know the color, but there should only be 2 wires going to the ignition key cylinder light. If you are turning on passive arming, the 30 second countdown will begin once the dome light shuts off.

If you pull down the BECU(4 10mm nuts and it comes down with no need to unplug anything) there is a plug on the back near the top. In it is a GREEN / WHITE wire, this is the door indicator light wire, pin 4. No delay and gets all doors.Mike M2
