HI I have one quick question regarding the clutch bypass on this car

it says    To bypass the clutch , with a relay program for starter, shorting out the BROWN / White and RED / Black together, will this relay diagram be correct

pin 87 (to one of the clutch wires), pin 30 (to the other clutch wire),  pin 85 (to Ground when running status),  pin 86 (12 volts)

thanks for the help

Mike

instead of using the "ground when running status output" you should just use the negative starter output to bypass the clutch. that way the clutch is only bypass when the car is starting and not bypassed the whole time you remote start the car.

okay so, I am workign on a 2004 jetta, i am installing a viper 5901 and the idatalink ads-al-ca module

doorpin, trunkpin, trunk release, and foot brake work through the data connection, but the lock and unlock feature do not work, I find this wierd because usually it is the other way around, the bypass programmed correctly so I am kind puzzled by this

anyone have any suggestions

Mike

I am using it in D2D and it is the cable that is made to connect DEI products to the idatalink bypasses
