I have had success in installing many remote starts in Grand Ams and Grand Prixs. I think I may be in over my head on this install. I am installing a 4103 avital using a dlpkgm as the bypass module. I am unsure as to what needs to be hooked up. I will be using the D2D connector and that helps eliminate some wiring. I have the green + input door trigger that I am unsure to where that should go. I am also wondering if I need to hook up arm/disarm on the RS. Can anybody walk me through this install? It is on a 2005 Chevy Tahoe. Thanks

here is a link to vehicle specific manual
http://bypasskit.com/getdocument.aspx?documentid=1118 http://bypasskit.com/getdocument.aspx?documentid=1118
and if your not hooking up an alarm or in a manual transmission you don't need the door trigger i would think

also you should not have to hook up the arm disarm wires of the remote starter it will be done with the bypass when you unlock and lock the doors

Yep, I have that info. I forged forward and have the vehicle cranking and will start with the remote if the key is in the run position. I did get the rs to work several times, but the security light, seat belt light and t/c light  is on. I get the rs unit to click when I use the lock and unlock remote buttons, but the locks do not work.  It seems to me I am not bypassing the factory security.

Yes, I even re-tried to program it thinking that was the problem. I my way to work this morning I am getting the message on the speedo to "service 4wd" and Service tire pressure monitors" I know I am missing something simple but don't know what that is. I have not installed a 4103 before. I usually work with the 562T or 160XV systems with an XK bypass. I really appreciate the help!

I  am using a very lite yellow wire that branches off to the left of the steering column as 2nd ignition. It has no power until I turn on the key and get 12 volts. It drops to 10 volts while cranking and back to 10 after it starts. I have 7 wires in the ignition. red, RED / white, yellow, very lite yellow, brown, black  and orange. I am just following the info on a post I found that said that this was it. I do not have the brown 2nd accessory hooked up. On my way home tonight the battery light came on. Help!!
