2006 mercedes c280 remote start

My buddy has one he's interested in. Has anyone ever done one successfully? And if so, what's involved? For what it's worth his car has an electronic key similar to '08-up Chryslers that gets turned in the dash (it's not a conventional switchblade key setup and also not Keyless Go). Thanks Metz. Any idea on their pricing? I've seen midcityengineering's stuff and it looks cool but I don't like how vague they are about the price...like seriously just come out and say it - everyone knows it's going to be expensive! i have done 1 midcity engineering piece on an r350 and it was an excellent piece very easy install. works thru factory panic button, they offer ad-ons to use a dei remote or compustar remote, contact them about being an authorized installer for them in your area and they will refer people who contact them from your area, they have a set minmum price for the parts of 799.00 PLUS labor installed it is a very nice easy to install data all in one piece
