Im installing a Viper remote start in a 2001 pontiac grand am. Wondering If I hooked up all wires correctly. When I go to start the car the radio and fuel pump turn on but doesn't start. I hooked up an XK01. Here's how I hooked up the 10 pin connector.
Harness Vehicle
Pink Ignition 1- Pink
RED / white-N/A
Orange-Orange
Violet starter car side-Yellow
Green starter key side-Yellow
Red 12V-Red
Pink/White-N/A
Pink/Black-N/A
RED / Black-N/A
Not sure if the other power wires needed to be connected and what there function would be.
Thank You
Pete

pink/white must also be connected to your second ign. in that car.
After you've made the connection, put the key the ignition and see if it remote starts. If yes, then remove the key and try again. If it doesn't start the 2nd time, double check your bypass wiring.

RED / black needs to see constant 12 volts and if you use 2nd ignition(pink/white), the RED / white needs to see constant 12 volts

the status output (blue) should be hooked up to the bypass mod.
