audiovox ps 901n remote starting problem

Hi all, Just finished installing the APS 901 Audiovox starter. Problem is not will not even attempt to remote start at all. I'm sure all the wirings are hooked up correct. I was able to programmed the tach, as the parking light remained lit for 3 seconds as said in manual. I can also program the transmitters as well, as it clicks and flashes. Problem is if I press the transmitter twice to being remote starting it, nothing turns on or cranks or anything .. ??! I am also using the DEI 556U with key inside.

Just works! The OEM hood switch ( 03 murano ) was providing a +5V when hood is closed. I cut this wire and it remote started. I guess it doesn't like the positive voltage when closed.
