Hey guys, I have run into a problem while installing a Ford Gold remote start system on my 2006 explorer. all the information i have say the flip-out glass wire is brown in the drivers kick panel and the drivers door lock motor is blue/green in drivers kick panel. I can't find a blue/green wire in the big harness in the drivers kick panel at all. I can see the wire coming out of the door harness but do not have enough room to tap into it there. The brown wire in the big harness for the flip-out glass does not work my back glass. I tried to get to these wires at the sjb but there is not enough room to get up to it under the dash. Does anyone know if these wires mught change colors in the kick panel harness? thanks in advance for your help.

the rear glass is brown neg trigger in the kick panel. only tests when pressing button on hatch door will not test with factory remote.

blue/green(+) is the driver door unlock motor wire in the driver kick panel should be easy to access.

you said driver door lock motor wire if that is what you need it is a grey/brown(+). in driver kick panel

all wires should be in the bundles of wires there not hidden.

OK that explains why I did not get a reading off the brown wire. I was using the factory remote to test it. I meant the unlock not lock motor. sorry for the confusion. I need it for the disarm on the alarm system. I will look again,Thanks for all the help.
