Just install a 5901 viper alarm to my 1997 honda civic ex..................got the remote start to work and everything But im still having some problems.......can 12volt help out ..................thanks

Problems

1-Headlight and taillights not blinking when arm and disarmed (10a fuse in the cpu is on)
2-Cliclimate control not working unless key is in the ignition
3-Having alot of left over wires

heres the diagram of the viper 5901 alarm/remote starter

i circle all the wiring that i couldnt fix and need help with

H1/4- WHITE/ BROWN PARKING LIGHT ISOLATION WIRE pin 87a on onboard rly (what is this wire for and do i need it)

H1/9- BLACK/ WHITE (-) 200mA DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION OUTPUT (cant find the wiring does anyone know were it located)

H1/10- WHITE/ BLUE (-) REMOTE START/TURBO TIMER ACTIVATION INPUT  (what should i do with is wire)

H1/11- WHITE PARKING LIGHT OUTPUT ( what is this wire used for and were can i find it.........in a honda civic 97 ex)

       Is this the reason why my tailligh and headlight arent blink when i arm or disarm the car

H3/7-  PINK/WHITE (+) IGNITION2/ FLEX RELAY OUTPUT (What i this wire used for)

h3/8 PINK/BLACK (+) FLEX RELAY INPUT 87A KEY SIDE ( What is this wire used for)

H2/11 to H2/14 on the chart what are these wire used for and do i need them

also car that the alarm is going in to is a 97 honda civic ex 5 speed

WHITE/ brown- unused

BLACK/ white- unused

WHITE/ blue- unused

white- this is your parking light wire, and also the reason yoru lights aren't blinking with the alarm!

Pink/white- ignition 2!

Pink/black- unused!

The h2 harness wires you refer to are also unused!

so all i need to do is run h3 pink/white wire to the h3 RED / white and that it

and the viper 5901 comes with a 12mins remote start time how can i ajust that

No the pink/white would connect to the ignition 2 wire in the car which is yellow like i posted above!

To adjust the runtime

Turn ignition on the off

press and hold the valet switch until you hear three chirps

then press the valet switch 5 times hold on the fifth press

there are three settings

1chirp setting- 12mins (default)

2 chirp- 24mins

3 chirp- 60 mins (Which is really overkill in my opinion!)
