Hi,
I am trying to change some features on my 5701. For some reason, it will not enter the program menu.
I open the door, turn the ignition on then off, and then press and hold the valet button.
The only thing that happens is it goes into valet mode (Blue LED stays on, fob beeps once.) If I repeat my steps, it turns valet mode off.
I know everything including the door wire is hooked up properly. (Alarm goes off when door is opened)
Its acting like it is not seeing the door open while I am trying to program.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's a 2000 cavalier.
I tried grounding the door trigger, same result.
