I'm in the process of installing a Viper 5701 in my '06 Trailblazer SS, and have run into an issue I'm sure I've caused somewhere along the line. I cannot perform a normal start of the vehicle with the key. All alarm actions function properly, as does the remote start and shutdown processes.
I am using the Idatalink ADS-DLSL GM bypass module in W2W. Since this seems to be R/S related, here are my connections for the H3, R/S In, R/S Out, and bypass harnesses. Does anyone see what I did wrong? I can post up the remainder of the connections if need be.

I checked all connections, and they appear secure. I also disconnected the H3 harness altogether and jumped the two starter pins (in essence returning to a normal state), and the key worked flawlessly.

It was a ground issue, ironically. I checked all wires at the common ground and one was loose from all the fiddling I've been doing I guess, causing the key start to fail.
So, now the key start works fine as does remote start with the car in an unarmed state. When the car is armed, however, I keep tripping the factory alarm which in turns triggers the Viper. The bypass is flashing green during R/S, so according to the manual it is programmed correctly. I'm using D/L1 & D/L3 into the bypass to control locks...could that be my problem? Should I change those to H2/1 and H2/2 to try to control the factory alarm at R/S?
