I just bought a used car with a clifford arrow alarm installed on by-pass. How do I determine which model arrow this is so I can purchase and program remotes?

Should be stamped on the alarm brain's casing.
What does the part about by-pass mean? Rather confusing.

Turn valet off:
Ign on, press star side twice, plain side once LED should extinguish.
Unfortunately the last three models used the same Siren, unless you have a working remote, the answer stays the same as before.
P.S. If you have a remote, silver colour is 5.1,
black remote is the "Cello" versions 3 and 5.
How old is the vehicle and what is it?

You could try it, alarm and valet off, ignition on, press star side twice, plain once, LED will flash, hold star for about 3 secs, siren will chirp, push plain once, chirp after 3 secs, push star once, immediate chirp, press lock/arm on remote, SHOULD get one chirp if it's compatible, press same button again, should get two chirps. Otherwise it's back to my first post.

P.S. If you have a RED LED it should be compatible.
