I have a compustar remote start in a 2008 ram 2500 diesel manual transmission. The starter has a bypass module and a pats key transponder. About a week ago the truck started automatically locking the doors. It does not matter which way I unlock the truck with the remote start or the OEM fob. It takeas approx 45 secs and the lights flash then another 15 seconds and then it locks. Not sure what has happened, can it be in a different program or is the starter buggered up?

You "appear" to have programmed it for passive arm and lock, go into the programming and turn it off!

That is what I was thinking. The remote is a RF-1WG2-AM. How do I turn it off?

Press unlock and trunk release at the same time for 1/2 second. Parking lights will flash 2 times to let you know it's out of passive mode.
BTW: It's on the back of the remote control

To program the various options I need to know which brain you have. Each program position is different depending on brain used. It does not matter which transmitter you have.

Thanks,

I will try the tunk and inlock button. If that does not work I will look at the brain and get a number off it.
