Dear sir/madam,

I had recently installed remote start (4103 AVITAL) kit in my 2006 Toyta Sienna XLE Limited. The new key fob remote starter has only 4 channels - lock, unlock, remote start & hetch door release. The problem is, when I start the car using new key fob remote starter, the original factory remote fob stops working, even if I unlock the car using new key fob.

I wanted to be able to use factory fob to open the side doors, and willing to carry two fobs for total operation.

Is this true? or the vehicle can be wired so that I can use both remotes?

Thanks,

Vic Shah

Thanks,
CVS

Have you connected the key sense wire?

thanks for the reply. I will get this answer from the guy who worked on my vehicle.
Basically, what I understand from your reply is that, it is possible to use both new key fob (after market) & original factory fob. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks,
CVS
