I'm trying to locate the keysense wire on an 05 Murano with intelligent key. I need the valet keysense wire so I can trigger it when using the 556 bypass.
Thanks.

Ok, I think I found it. I found a BLACK/ red wire on a grey connector, that connects to something around the ignition. I tested this wire, and when I insert a valet key into the ignition (and remove my hand) this wire goes to 12V.
So I connected the second accessory wire to this and verified that when I start the RS, this line goes to 12V just before cranking.
But the result is the same as before. The car cranks for a couple seconds but doesn't start. If I insert the key into the ignition and try the RS it cranks and then starts.
So what else could I be missing? Perhaps its how I have the 556u antenna ring wrapped around the ignition cylinder? This cylinder is hard to place the ring on cause it has this plastic ring topped off by a lighted ring that lights green when key is turned.
Any ideas?

Well, sure enough, it was the placement of the 556 ring. Wow, talk about a pain in the ass. Man, in my 05 Titan it was easy, but in the Murano, I had to trim a groove on the back side of the lighted collar for the 556 ring to fit into so that I can squeeze the ring around the outside of what is probably the key sensing mechanism and in under this lighted ring.
After that, BAM!, starts right up, and the red key light is no longer on.
Now, onto the final problem. Powering up the keysense with the second accessory output like this keeps the keysense on constant 12V. So, anyone can jump into the car and turn the ignition and drive away without a key.
So the question now is whats the best way to only power this keysense long enough for RS to start the car and then shut the keysense back off?
