Hello everyone,
I've just installed an Avital 4113 with a PKALL module using D2D. I'm having a problem with the car staying on. Remote starts fine, but after 15 secs, it shuts down. It restarts two additional times, but shuts down after 15 secs. Ran the diagnostic on the Avital 4113, and get a code 3 which is Low or no RPM, Low battery (for voltage & Virtual tach modes). In wiring the system I didn't wire the Tachometer Input Wire. Is this required for the D2D mode?, if so, where is the best place to connect this wire to?
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks

hook up the tach wire, virtual tach is unreliable and the pkall does not give a signal

Exactly, as soon as I saw 15 seconds it's typical for unlearned tach, you should have tested for it on install, see my bye-line!

Sorry, didn't even read your first post fully, OBD aka data connector, under dash, driver's side, pin 9.

Thanks guys that did it. Just in case anyone is looking.. There was no tach wire on terminal 9 of OBD connector, so I pulled it from the ECU on terminal 5 (white wire) top plug.
Much appreciated.
