I just bought a 2004 GMC Jimmy. It came with an alarm and car starter but I can not figure out ow to use it. All it says on the remote is "Power" with a lightning bolt through the "O". What brand of car alarm/remote is it? How does it work?

Can you take the dash panel down and find the brain of the system? If it does not tell you on the brain itself, post a picture...someone here should be able to identify it.

I don't know to much about vehicles and I can't find anything under the hood except a horn for the alarm which doesnt have any writing on it.
Pictures coming soon.

Good start by posting the remote picture, maybe someone will be able to identify it from that photo. But when I was saying to take a picture I meant under the driver's side dash, by the steering column, not under the hood. If you aren't comfortable with taking the panel down, try laying on your back and look up...see if you can find it.

X 2 with Twelvoltz, you will HAVE to find the "brain". Probably under driver's side dash.

The padlock buttons are (obviously) lock and unlock or arm and disarm, the star button should activate remote start, as for the options button?

that looks like a polar start remote, but you still have to find out the brain model.
